STRUCTURAL

SAFE BUILDING ENGINEERING has experience with wide range of residential and commercial project types. We are specialized with small to medium structural building design, and all types of foundation design. For all your needs of building additions, bearing wall replacements for a renovation project our structural engineers are experienced in providing clients with cost effective solutions. If you suspect your building has an issue with the structure, then be proactive and contact a structural engineer. Often times, repair costs for structural issues are more economical when found in the initial stages of failure. Additionally, it is important to have a structural engineer review your building prior to any structural modifications or repairs; the building code and permitting authorities require it! A detailed repair plan from an engineer can ensure your building will safely be rehabilitated, and help provide a common basis from which contractors can base their bids. We provide engineering services for temporary shoring, site walls, primary structures, design of decorative cladding systems, miscellaneous site structures, add-ons and extensions, and retrofits.

HVAC DESIGN

The HVAC system is a key mechanical component that puts you in control over temperature and humidity. HVAC systems are one of the most expensive parts of a building’s operation, therefore an efficient design is mandatory to minimize your energy and gas bills while maintaining a great result.

We offer plumbing and drainage drafting services design and drafting services for domestic water, plumbing set up of natural and LP gas piping drafting, demolition and existing plan drawings, isometrics, riser diagrams, schematics, and schedules.

BUILDING REHABILITATION

Building rehabilitation is more than a facelift. Renovations and Modernizations often are implemented to improve energy efficiency, building programming, as well as meet the requirements of current ADA codes. Buildings have a life of their own, and over the course of time they may require renovation and/or modernization to meet regulations and codes, occupant updates and adapting current technology. ENVIRONMENTAL

A Phase I Environmental Site Assessment should be an essential step in acquiring commercial or industrial property, but there are many questions stakeholders have about Phase I ESA. Phase I Environmental Site Assessments are the introductory phase of investigating if there is a potential for environmental risk or contamination on a property that would affect its value and if additional investigation and testing is warranted. The purpose of a Phase I Environmental Site Assessment is to gather sufficient information to develop an independent professional opinion about the environmental conditions of the property and to identify actual or potential environmental contamination, which may impact the property value or affect claim to an “innocent land owner” exemption following acquisition.
